Synopsis
After the Fangpyres join forces with the Hypnobrai, Lloyd awakens Pythor - the last remaining serpent of the Anacondrai tribe. Pythor steals a map from him that will show him where the remaining two snakes tribes dwell. [citation needed]
Plot
Zane has a dream of the Falcon perched on some power lines, telling him to wake upwards. Zane bumps his head on the bed above him as he awakens, greeting Sensei Wu and Nya who tell him that they are not safe with Lloyd and the Serpentine on the loose. Zane questions where the others are and Master Wu informs him that they are grooming on the upper deck.
The Light-green Ninja.
When he arrives on the deck, he notices the Falcon and begins talking to it. The Falcon and then flies off, and as the shadow of Lord Garmadon approaches, Zane turns around and questions him. Lord Garmadon tells him that he has returned to call up the Gold Weapons, pulling out two argent katanas and rushing into battle.
After Zane dodges him, Lord Garmadon demands the Shurikens of Ice, throwing him into a trash heap upon refusal. Lord Garmadon cuts a rope holding a heavy crate, but before information technology could fall on Zane, the Green Ninja appears, lifting the box and throwing it overboard. The Light-green Ninja immediately engages in a boxing confronting Lord Garmadon, using the Nunchucks of Lightning to defeat him. Zane wonders who the Green Ninja is every bit the Falcon perches himself atop the mysterious figure's arm, his hand and optics in flames, and the entire deck covered with falcons.
Zane so awakens once again, striking his head as he did in his dream. However, he is unconvinced that he is awake and believes he is all the same dreaming. Cole decides to hitting him over the head with a pillow to convince him, causing the ninja to laugh.

Out on the upper deck, Sensei Wu commands the ninja to warm up with stretches while Zane tells the ninja of his dream. The excitement of the Light-green Ninja makes the four do poorly in their warm-ups, and Sensei Wu punishes them past ordering them to train the balance of the day until they can answer the riddle, "What is the best way to defeat an enemy?" They brainstorm training only are apace distracted again every bit Zane tells more than of his dream.
Meanwhile, Lloyd travels through the snow with the Fangpyre in order to attack the Hypnobrai. Upon seeing Skales, Fangtom happily greets him and the ii begin chatting as they had been allies in the past. Lloyd questions why they are not fighting and Fangtom explains that there is no reason to become to state of war if the Hypnobrai's new General is Skales. Skales and then mentions that if he had released any of the other tribes he would have easily gone to war, and equally the two Generals discuss what they will do with Lloyd, Lloyd is quick to escape the scene.
At the Destiny'southward Compensation, Zane finishes telling the others of his dream and the ninja immediately argue over which of them is the Greenish Ninja. Sensei Wu interrupts and comments that considering they are not preparation, they must have figured out the answer to the riddle. None of the ninja tin can answer the question, so Kai offers "training" equally the solution to the riddle. Sensei Wu tells them they are wrong, and reminds the iv they must acquire to focus and keep their minds sharp before retreating dorsum below deck. The ninja decide to come together and effigy out the right reply between them.

Later on, Pythor and Lloyd cause trouble in Jamanakai Village and raid the village'due south supply of candy, returning to the Anacondrai Tomb one time they are done. Lloyd at offset lies to Pythor saying that he ran away from Darkley'due south Boarding School for Bad Boys, but reveals moments later that he instead was kicked out of the school for lacking the amoral ambition to be one of tomorrow's masterminds. Pythor then suggests they caput to the schoolhouse the next morning to get revenge on both the students every bit well equally the ninja.
Back at the Destiny's Bounty, the ninja confidently tell Sensei Wu that the answer to the riddle is "teamwork," merely Sensei Wu is quick to inform them that their answer is incorrect. As the Destiny'due south Bounty flies downwardly to the roof'south level, Jay grabs Lloyd to bring him to the ship while the other ninja suggests punishments for his behavior.
Afterward in the dark, Sensei Wu puts Lloyd to bed after reading him a bedtime story from a book called Jack the Rabbit. As the ninja mutter to Sensei Wu about a lack of punishment for his nephew, Sensei Wu remembers the riddle from before and asks them if they had solved it nonetheless, though they still exercise not know. Sensei Wu then announces that the best style to defeat an enemy is to make them your friend. It was then the ninja realized that Wu is trying to put Lloyd on a meliorate path.

- When the ninja failed to do their stretches correctly, everyone but Zane poses as the Three Wise Monkeys: Cole represents Hear no Evil, Jay represents Speak no Evil, and Kai represents Meet no Evil. Sensei Wu even commented proverb that information technology "looks like the shocked monkey."
- This episode takes its name from a line of a volume Sensei Wu reads Lloyd, referring to the several instances Lloyd had been betrayed by the Serpentine.
